Alan Jackson and others to perform at CMA Awards

Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will perform at the 44th annual CMA Awards show on Wednesday, Nov. 10, and Zac Brown Band will team with Alan Jackson for a song.
The Country Music Association announced those artists as the first slate of confirmed performers on the show, which will air live from the Bridgestone Arena on ABC at 7 p.m. Central time.
Bentley is nominated in three categories, including male vocalist, album and musical event. Chesney has a musical event nomination, as does Jackson, and Lady Antebellum has five nominations, including entertainer, album, single, video and vocal group. Lambert is 2010's top nominee, with nine nominations, while Shelton is nominated in four categories. Zac Brown Band is up for entertainer, vocal group, musical event and top new artist, and band members Brown and John Driskell are nominated in the top song categoy for "Toes," written with Wyatt Durrette and Shawn Mullins.
